To ensure everything goes smoothly with the end of your tenancy with Peacock Hospitality please refer to the information below.
If there are damages beyond normal wear and tear or damage that was not present when you took position of the unit, please bring them to the attention of Peacock Hospitality as soon as possible. The more time we have to fix and schedule the repair before the end of your tenancy the less financial responsibility you will incur. Do not attempt to fix any damages your self unless you hire a licenced contractor to make the repair. We need to approve the hired contractor.
Call BC Hydro 1 800 224 9376 and have your service terminated to correspond with the date of your move out date
Call your internet cable and phone provider and have your service terminated
Peacock Hospitality is not responsible for any unpaid utilities or to refund utility deposits
Carpets must be professionally cleaned. Fiber Fresh is the best company to use. Their number is 250 430 7928. If carpets are not professionally steam cleaned Peacock Hospitality will provide the service for $250.00. If the carpets are stained or damaged beyond repair, please inform Peacock Hospitality as soon as possible.
All FOB that were issued to you during your tenancy must be returned during the move out inspection. If keys are not retuned, you will be charged $25 for the cost of us to rekey the doors. This charge is per FOB. All Parking Passes that were issued to you during your tenancy must be returned during the move out inspection. If these passes are not retuned, you will be charged $25 for the cost of us to reprint the pass. This charge is per pass.
If you leave your unit in disarray, dirty and or damaged Peacock Hospitality will seek damages above and beyond the damage deposit if needed. This action may affect your credit rating.
If you leave your unit in disarray, dirty and or damaged Peacock Hospitality will enter you name into the database of DNR(do not rent) tenants. This will prevent you from ever renting from Peacock Hospitality and all its partners in both a commercial and residential capacity.
If you leave your unit in disarray, dirty and or damaged Peacock Hospitality will refuse to give you positive references.
